Uhm, it's been a while since i typed in a post haven't I? Well, but since I got back, loads of things have been happening and it's only recently that it's calmed down somewhat. :) Church camp, internship job hunts, cleaning up my room, buying more formal-ish clothes...
btw who likes koko wa greenwood amongst those who happen to read this pita of mine? Am currently reading "Natural" right now (another hana to yume comic) which resembles a cross between Greenwood and Harlem Beat... both comics which i incidentally like. I mean, Miguel, the protagonist of the story even looks like Mitsuru!!!! :P can't remember his past and so staying with foster parents. In some odd way, you could even term it as Mitsuru's adventures in school, with Sho playing a part in the comic and it's a fun comic which I'm starting to read right now. Sansui (Simon) - the 2nd hero... well, I'm trying to figure out what the deal is between him with Miguel and whether this is going to turn out as a shonen-ai manga...*groans :(* right now, he's still trying to figure it out (since he's pretty screwed up in his own way - sorry past, poor kid - has an oedipus complex, goes a bit screwy once in a while, stuff like that and all the while still being VERY VERY COOL) after miguel's foster sister ayako rejected him.
but despite it all, i do like the manga... mainly for the friendship interaction bits, the basketball, the archery... it is a nice comic, so check it out if you have the time! will probably do a small page for it and show you what i mean about the mitsuru-miguel parallel... ;)

Hello. We are having a great time here and will be back in the seats of anime asylum... such as it is, shortly... well, shortly being in a month's time. For those who want happy news, we have sort of been productive... well I have. Starbucks tea seems to be quite inspirational... and Joppo has been... inspired in her own way I guess. So, if you're really really lucky... you should get at *least* one fic by the time we get back... one being the number of the fics that I actually worked on. And now, if you want more, kindly e-mail us and tell us! Who knows, checking our e-mail frantically in a small Internet cafe where the price of the Internet is exorbitant and we're being stressed out by a counter, a kindly e-mail screaming "I WANT XXXX" - (XXXX being the name of the fic, mind you!!!) might push us enough to work on that one, seeing that as for the next few days we'll be around each other and *theoretically* will have time to work on stuff while travelling... Jop however disagrees... let's see what you guys can go about that :) I think Jop probably wants to kill me for giving all of you ideas by now so let us leave with just a simple... thank you all those people who have been visiting our page to no avail... don't worry... they'll come in... eventually... according to Jop I think... erm... maybe not eventually... but who knows? And I'm rambling... probably because I'm super-duper tired... having woken up at 5 in the morning... but, that is another story... so, talk to all of you soon... and well, hope you enjoy the fics when they come out. Ja ne! Oh yeah... Jop reminds me to tell you that For the Children is finished... sort of. That's about it then.

Right now, I'm tying up loose ends before Yen and I go off for a trip... don't think i'll sleep tonight... will probably stay awake until Yen's family picks me up and away we whisk off to the airport. amidst all the things that are packed are many many loose sheets of fics to be completed... all to be hopefully completed by the end of the trip?! whatever it is, it's time to try to lower the "to be finished" count... i can't believe how many we've amassed individually and collectively.
anyway, the fics to be finished:

Oh my, it IS a long list. but that's the selection we will be working on in the next couple of days while we're whiling away on the bus / plane. ^^ If things run well, we should finish maybe 3 fics by the end?
But anyway, in the meantime, it's off to dream about Seattle... ^^ really looking forward to it!

friend helped me arrange an interview for internship (asked the big wigs if i could tag along) this morning but the problem is that i have trouble printing out my portfolio 'cause my printer ran out of ink!!!!!! *looks very nervous* *hopes that the local convenience store stocks ink* meeting my friend at 9:45am...

*yawn* i wake up this morning and feel even more exhausted than before. -_- was supposed to meet a friend for a love singapore charity wallk, and well, basically i stood him up seeing how i ended up waking at the appointed time! O_o major oops. really have to apologize in person the next time. even tho' today is a public holiday, i probably won't go out today, i'm just too pooped! probably the result of wearing myself thin going out for days on end non-stop finally capped by the horror of horrors they call shopping?! i think it's almost quite hilarious - trekking through nature reserves and moving from place to place was fine with me, and 3 hours of pacing the malls and i'm just ready to call it quits... O_o i also managed to borrow a nikon manual 70-210mm zoom lens yesterday, which i hope to test it out when i go travelling. *beams* hurray! plus my travelling bag is here so i can start getting ready for my trip. which is next week. wow. that's... fast. Every day you learn something new. I dropped by my local library this afternoon and found out that they are loaning out anime!! *laughs* I know it's been a growing phenomena since i _have_ seen and borrowed manga from the libraries before, but i guess it's a different matter to have it in your local library that is within walking distance! ^^ Fantastic methinks... but alas, alas, i have already thrown away my tape-recorder... -_____- my muse has suddenly turned on me and changed into a drawing muse instead... *laughs sheephishly* maybe it has something about the portfolio that i have to submit to the tutors tomorrow... the A1 is about done ('cept for the fact that i may have to give it a good wipe), but as for my _real real_ portfolio... *panics*!!!! i just got an email from a friend who tells me that she is already going for interviews and stuff which is really fantastic imo, but makes me take a good look at how little I've done in comparison! Better buck up Joppo!!

i can't believe that exam is next week, but hey, life is good nonetheless, it's Easter Sunday tomorrow ^^ and the main bulk of my work is already mercifully completed, so all that's left is to study for Design Management exam, prepare the portfolio and prepare for critiques!!! i can do that... ^^
